The Spiny Babbler
International Film Festival (SBIFF) is an inclusive movie feast. This festival
is organized by the Spiny Babbler Movies Pvt. Ltd. Our aim is to offer the best
of Nepali and international cinema to the people of world.
Our objective:
To promote national and international films and documentaries that creates platform for world wide film makers and artists to reveal them in Film world.
We showcase the latest cutting-edge, independent cinema – art house fare alongside genre movies from all the national and international movies. This is a space where we revel in the sheer pleasure of cinema, the joy it gives us and how much it enhances our lives. The goal is to nurture and ignite a passion for movies. We are also planning to host our festival at foreign countries too in upcoming days.
Awards will be distributed to the winners selected by our respected jury members.

Films made within two years of each year Festival are eligible for entry. No restrictions have been set in terms of discipline, genre, length, and format of the films. The entries can be documentaries, full-length features, shorts, animation or experimental. Films can be on any theme including ethnography, adventure, investigative reportage, abstract, or personal narratives. Mobile HD Video can also participate in this festival. All short fiction film, animations, documentary film, mobile film should be in English subtitle.
Entry is free of cost through Film Freeway. Entries without the duly completed entry form will not be considered. If Possible then all entries must be accompanied by a labeled film promo image (800px * 600px/ 72 dpi) for use in the festival catalogue and promotion. Films once entered cannot be withdrawn. The festival will not be responsible for any loss, damage, and/or delay of films in transit.
